Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress best known for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She was first known for the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab where she co-starred along with an established actor Anil Koopor. Then she appeared in the movie Dil where she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. She was born into a Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing at a young age. Early in her life, when she started to perform as an actress, most films she created weren't successful. She finally found success, and she went on to be one of the top actresses in the Indian film business. She took a break from her career following her marriage before returning to the entertainment industry. She was a key character on Gulaab Gang, a film focused on women's struggles in India. Dixit won 8 Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award awarded to civilians in India, was bestowed upon Dixit. In addition, she is known for her charitable works.
